These temporary to permanent roles are an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role with the option of trialling it for 3 months initially. The jobs are working within a vibrant office with varied administrative and customer focused duties. Wetherby based, you need to live very locally or within easy access with a car.
You will be contacting customers to provide a detailed explanation of the services offered and the methods used around the workings of the payroll methods used. Account management/updating clients at every stage of the process undertaken to register new customers. Providing excellent customer service to all customers and clients.
Contact all new customers via telephone to obtain their details and to discuss the appropriate method in which their pay will be made.
Ensure that all new starters are aware of what is expected of them throughout the registration process.
Ensure all new starters are aware of the company margin and the expenses process before their first payment.
Update all clients as to the progress of each of their new starters therefore maximising the amount of workers they are able to process.
Record all new starter information onto the relevant check-lists/spreadsheets and complete any further forms/paperwork relevant to the registration of a new starter.
Accurately input all new starter data onto the payroll software where applicable and update personal details if and when necessary.
Manage new starter registrations via the online portal, and provide online assistance to workers where necessary.
Accurate verification and data entry of expense information into our software.
To communicate effectively face to face, via telephone or email with employees and work colleagues.
To effectively manage and prioritise your workload to ensure all deadlines are met.
Any other duties that fall within the scope of the post as allocated by your manager following consultation with the post holder.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required
These roles are open to those with a good administrative/customer service background but equally, someone without experience but the right work ethic/approach could be trained to meet the role requirements
Excellent customer service ability and an attitude where the truth/accuracy and extreme attention to detail comes naturally
Confidence dealing with individuals by phone whilst multi tasking around varying administrative tasks
A car driver / car owner is essential unless you live very locally to Wetherby and can access easily by public transport
Capable of working independently
Hours: 40 hours per week either 8am to 5pm 1 hour lunch or 8.30 to 5.30 1 hour lunch (5 finish on a Friday)
Salary: The roles pay around £9 – £9.50 whilst temping but increase once they become permanent to £20,000 per annum.
