My client is a large, well known asset management firm who partner with thousands of financial market participants to connect millions of people with their assets including equities, pensions, investments and properties. The company, who has offices all around the world, currently employee around 7000 people and have gone from strength to strength since opening their doors.

They are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join their extremely busy Funds Solution team on a permanent and full-time basis! The roles are extremely fast paced, busy and will teach you the skills needed to work in a professional financial environment. The successful candidate will be required to manage all inbound communications via telephone and emails from both the investors and clients and deal with the queries in a timely and professional manner whilst following FCA guidelines. The role offers brilliant progression and development opportunities and will allow you to build a career with such a successful company!

The main responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative are:

  • Responding to emails and telephone calls made by investors and professionals while adhering to set compliance and regulations
  • Prioritise queries and correspond with other departments when necessary to determine the root cause of any issue / query
  • Type and administer correspondence to clients and investors while meeting deadlines
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in all correspondence with customers and investors while always providing a professional service

The requirements of a successful Customer Service Representative are:

  • You must be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver an excellent customer service experience, this will ideally be gained in a previous telephone customer service role although we may look at other types of customer service experience.
  • Ideally you will have experience working within the financial services industry, however this isn’t essential.
  • Other customer service experience can include any complaint handling, inbound processing and/or banking roles.
  • Good standard of education – Maths and English GCSE grade C+ are essential for this role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the ability to always remain professional.
  • Able to multitask – deal with inbound calls as well as email correspondence.
