Content Manager

Currently seeking an experienced Content Manager to join an internationally established business, in a brand-new role within the organisation, created to further aid the growth and development of the internal marketing team. The role will largely focus on orchestrating the creation of content to be used on multiple platforms across all stages of the customers journey / customer touch points. The aim of this role is to continuously improve customer experience through higher quality consumer content.


The role will sit within and work closely with the wider internal marketing team as well as managing relationships with external agency partners where required. The job holder will also be required to work with other departments across the business to ensure they understand the content and the best approach for use to see maximum results.


Key duties and areas of responsibility:

  • Create a consistent pipeline of content of all brands and products to be used across multiple digital platforms
  • Work closely with influencers, leveraging agreements to produce high quality content and outreach
  • Align content with SEO strategy to determine relevant product / category content to drive improve website and sales conversions
  • Produce a wide range of digital content to include but not limited to
    • Long and short video
    • Dynamic social imagery
    • Standard imagery
    • Written content (blogs / website copy)
    • Podcasts
  • Work with the team’s Digital Designer to produce “in store” content
  • Determine ad content for print
  • Work with copywriters to crease press releases
  • Work with relevant press/media agencies to increase brand awareness
  • Ad-hoc support to the sales team in helping deliver shows and events
  • Manage brand protection to prevent misuse


Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required

  • Proactive and creative approach to work
  • 4+ years prior experience in a Content creation/strategy role
  • Ideal experience would be from a sports partnership or health & wellbeing background
  • Impeccable IT literacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious and tenacious character with the drive to succeed



Hours: Full time Mon – Fri

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE + Annual Bonus

Location: South Leeds
