We have a new temporary role working for a large, well-know retailer based in the Leeds City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to gain industry experience within Graphic Design and Web Design.

Reporting into the Digital Campaigns Manager and working alongside two other graphic designers, this role is responsible for the creation and implementation of on-brand promotional graphics for the company website across all relevant devices.

Responsibilities

• Create optimised promotional web graphics for the website across the responsive site (desktop, mobile & tablet) & Apps in accordance with best practice guidelines
• Publish a high volume of accurate graphics to the site in line with supplier funding plan
• Quality checking & proof reading as required
• Work with Lead Web Designer to challenge briefs where required, drive innovation through testing & analyse creative performance
• Work collaboratively with wider team to ensure Implementation of at least 99% for supplier funded media

Key skills

• A design related qualification post GCSE level
• Evidence of producing web graphics across devices
• Ability to use Photoshop & Illustrator
• Ability to hand code HTML
• Some knowledge of CSS and designing fully responsive pages desirable but not compulsory
• Evidence of using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Demonstrable knowledge of designing for web standards & browsers
• Some UX knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Ability to produce a high volume of banners

Hours: Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm / 8:30am – 4:30pm. Flexible.

Salary: Equivalent to 20k – 22k
