PA to Managing Partner

Location outskirts of Leeds City Centre

Salary £25k – £28k

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a results focused, team orientated and positive PA to join a diverse company just outside of Leeds City Centre. The main aim of this role is to provide a confidential, effective and proactive PA support to the Managing Partner, whilst working closely with the rest of the admin team. Personality fit is crucial for this role, we are looking for someone friendly, approachable, happy to push back to set realistic expectations and highly team orientated. The hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday however some flexibility may be required and an immediate start is available for the right person.

Responsibilities of the PA

  • Complex diary management for the managing partner and associated directors
  • To organise all internal/external meetings, prepare all papers and agendas as and when required
  • To arrange and book meetings, ensuring follow up of all actions, co-ordinate all incoming paperwork from relevant parties, check variances on the paperwork and follow up, prepare and distribute packs
  • To attend meetings draft agendas, ensure all actions are completed in the necessary time-frames
  • To prepare any presentations as may be required
  • To ensure monthly expenses are collated and submitted
  • To prepare or arrange refreshments as appropriate
  • To arrange itineraries and travel arrangements both UK and overseas
  • Monitor the mailbox of the managing partner and respond to emails where required
  • Manage the social media platforms for the managing partner
  • To screen and manage incoming calls
  • To coordinate various projects such as refurbishments as and where necessary
  • To work with other Group secretaries to provide support as and when required, adopting a flexible approach in assisting the needs of the business to ensure an efficient service is offered to all members of the senior management team

The ideal PA will be-

  • Highly motivated and a well organised self-starter, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Must be able to work with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • An able multi tasker
  • Ability to work flexibly committing additional hours as may be required from time to time depending on the requirements of the role
  • Pro-active
  • Must be self-managing
  • Must be diplomatic and highly customer focused
  • Calm and assured disposition with the ability to cope under pressure
  • Willing to accept responsibility for a wide variety of tasks
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry would be beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands on and happy to help out where necessary
