Description

My client are a Leeds based company who have been successfully operating for over 40 years. The main focus of their work is to manufacture and install windows, shopfronts, store entrances and patios whilst working with large, well-known businesses to assist with this. They are a very busy company who are constantly winning new business making them an expert in their field.

They are currently recruiting for a part time office administrator to join their busy team on a permanent basis, working 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. The role is very exciting, challenging and extremely fast paced and will require you to be well organised, have amazing attention to detail and be very friendly and positive!

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Being the first point of contact for deliveries coming into the building, taking note of the deliveries and matching these to orders in the warehouse
  • Place orders for stationary, uniform and materials needed for specific orders
  • Checking the first aid supplies and ordering new stock if needed, making sure all items are in date as well as doing weekly fire alarm tests and recording this on the system
  • Updating internal systems and files once projects have taken place and making sure this information is accurate and up to date
  • Looking after staff holiday records and keeping track of this
  • Booking in company vehicles for services and MOT’s
  • Booking training courses for the staff, assigning staff members to specific training courses and recording this on an internal system
  • Uploading documents onto the system
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Making outbound calls to contractors or suppliers
  • Dealing with administrative tasks within the business
  • Making sure things are running smoothly and efficiently throughout the office

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Proficient in Windows 10
  • Good attention to detail skills
  • Very well organised
  • High levels of Accuracy
  • Experience of working in a varied, fast paced environment
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service
  • Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths & English

Location: Leeds

Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday 5 hours per day

Salary: £9.50 Per hour
