Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful, forward-thinking company based in Leeds City Centre, currently looking for an HR Administrator to join their friendly team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The Role

Working as a generalist HR Administrator alongside the HR team and internal clients. Providing general administrative support as well as a specific focus on the pre-employment screening and recruitment activities.

This role is perfect for someone who has strong administrative experience (preferably within a HR Setting), great attention to detail, is organised, and has excellent maths skills.


Responsibilities

  • Undertake all activities related to the Company pre-employment screening process to ensure all new starters have complied with and submitted what is required as per their role. 
  • Maintain employee records and the HR database
  • Produce electronic employee files and filing of documents on employee files
  • Support with recruitment activity where appropriate
  • Respond to basic HR queries from employees
  • Produce contractual letters in line with any changes such as salary, hours, role
  • Produce offer packs and employment contracts
  • Produce references for ex-employees
  • Make all administrative arrangements in line with the Company Induction and be involved with the delivery of the induction as and when may be required
  • Any other ad-hoc duties which may arise

Experience, skills set and/or qualifications

  • Previous HR administrative experience in preferably a legal or professional environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to consistently work at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy
  • A self-starter, confident and able to engage and communicate professionally at all levels
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Professional and customer focused approach
  • Experience of working in a high-volume environment
  • Team Player with a ‘can do’ attitude
