Description of this role

An urgent temporary opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a CEO within a fast-moving organisation. This is a temporary assignment for around 2 months,  requiring someone who can start immediately and confidently step into a busy, demanding environment from day one and could be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a direct, fast-paced working style, is comfortable juggling priorities, and can act as a trusted right hand to a senior leader.

The Role

You will act as the central point of coordination for the CEO, ensuring their schedule, communications and daily priorities run smoothly. You will be expected to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and anticipate needs before they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a complex diary, coordinating meetings, calls and key engagements
  • Handling incoming communications and responding to urgent matters on behalf of the CEO where appropriate
  • Providing both professional and personal PA support, ensuring the CEO’s schedule runs efficiently
  • Preparing meeting materials and taking accurate minutes when required
  • Supporting with internal coordination and maintaining organised filing and documentation systems
  • Assisting with office administration and day-to-day operational support
  • Supporting with internal events and stakeholder activities where required
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reports for leadership meetings

Experience, skill set and/or qualifications

  • An experienced Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant used to supporting senior leadership
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-changing environment
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities

Contract Information

  • Start date – Immediately for around 1-2 months
  • Location – LS7 hybrid working (Monday- Thursday on site and Friday WFH)
  • Hours – 9AM-5PM with one hour lunch (35 hour week)
  • Job type- Temporary but potential to go permanent
