Senior Supply Chain Lead
Full Time | Leeds City Centre
Salary - £40,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Lead to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Leeds City Centre.
The successful candidate will have proven supply chain experience, strong Excel skills, and ideally have worked within an SME environment where they have been able to take ownership, improve processes, and make a measurable impact. This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, analytical, and passionate about driving operational improvements through better systems, data, and ways of working.
This is a key role for an accomplished supply chain or operations professional who can bring fresh thinking, structure, and innovation to an established function.

Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of day-to-day supply chain and operational processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Reviewing existing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline processes
- Developing enhanced reporting solutions using digital tools, data analysis, and AI-driven insights
- Improving operational visibility through effective data management and reporting structures
- Managing international shipping processes, ensuring strong understanding and application of Incoterms and global trade requirements
- Working closely with senior leadership to provide operational insight and commercially focused recommendations
- Identifying and implementing improvements across systems, processes, and ways of working
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience within a supply chain, operations, or transformation-focused role
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and create meaningful reports
- Ideally experience working within an SME environment where ownership and adaptability are essential
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, shipping processes, and Incoterms
- Experience using technology, automation, AI tools, or digital solutions to improve business performance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insight
- A commercially focused and solutions-driven approach
- The confidence to work autonomously while influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
