Description of this role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Temporary Logistics Coordinator to join a busy transport team based in Normanton for an initial 2–3 month assignment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous logistics, transport or vehicle coordination experience who is available to start immediately. Due to the location of this site having access to your own car is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging vehicle collections and deliveries

  • Liaising with drivers, customers and transport providers

  • Tracking vehicle movements and updating internal systems

  • Managing delivery schedules and resolving delays

  • Maintaining accurate vehicle and transport records

  • Preparing delivery and transport documentation

  • Supporting with stock and vehicle movement queries

  • Providing updates to internal teams and customers

  • General logistics and transport administration

Experience, Qualifications and/or Skill Set

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous logistics, transport or fleet experience

  • Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Has strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Has good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

  • Is available to start immediately
